Zap your cravings? brain stimulation tested for cannabis addiction at home
NCT ID NCT07184983
Summary
This study is testing whether a home-based treatment using gentle brain stimulation (tDCS) combined with mindfulness meditation can help adults reduce or quit cannabis use. Researchers will enroll 46 people with cannabis addiction to try the one-month program and track their cravings, withdrawal symptoms, and overall cannabis use. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe, practical to do at home, and shows early signs of helping people cut back.
