Summary

This study tested if combining a gentle brain stimulation technique (transcranial direct current stimulation) with mindfulness exercises could help reduce pain after knee replacement surgery. Twenty-four adults who had knee replacement took part. The goal was to see if this approach is practical and might lower pain and the need for painkillers after the operation.
