Summary
This study looks at whether special brain cells called tanycytes play a role in Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal dementia. Researchers will measure hormone levels in blood and spinal fluid from 102 participants to see if these cells help control metabolism and hormone signals. The goal is to better understand early changes in these diseases, not to test a treatment.
