NCT ID NCT06121336

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how a protein called BD-tau, which is released into the blood when the brain is injured, changes over time in people having a stroke. Researchers will take blood samples every hour for 48 hours from 100 adults with acute ischemic stroke. The goal is to learn when BD-tau levels start to rise and how long they keep increasing, which could help doctors better predict recovery and guide treatment.
