Summary

This study looked at whether taking spirulina supplements along with cutting calories can help men with obesity lose weight and improve their cholesterol and blood sugar control. 35 men took either spirulina or a placebo for 30 days while following a reduced-calorie diet. The goal was to see if the supplement made a difference in body measurements, fat levels, and markers of oxidative stress.
