First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a non-surgical way to collect sperm from men with a condition called azoospermia, where no sperm is found in the semen. Using ultrasound guidance, doctors flush and aspirate fluid from a part of the testicle called the rete testis. The goal is to safely retrieve sperm for fertility treatment, avoiding the need for surgery. The study enrolls 50 adult men with two testicles and a confirmed diagnosis of azoospermia.
