First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested whether a newer heart medication (sotagliflozin) reduces blood clot formation better than an older one (empagliflozin) in 17 healthy volunteers. Each person took both drugs at different times, and researchers measured clot size and platelet activity. The goal was to understand if the newer drug might be safer for heart patients.
