NCT ID NCT07395648
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a smartwatch, combined with artificial intelligence, can help monitor heart attack patients during their recovery at home. About 1,050 participants will either use the smartwatch with AI, a smartwatch without AI, or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the AI-powered watch can reduce hospital visits and improve quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Smartwatch with AI-assisted monitoring
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a practical, at-home tool for heart attack patients to better manage recovery and catch complications early.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively early-stage trial, and the AI alerts may not always be accurate. The smartwatch requires consistent use, which may be challenging for some patients.
