Summary

This large study tests whether using electronic health records and text messages can help more adults with obesity enroll in proven weight-loss programs. Over 5,000 patients from community health centers will be invited to join. The goal is to see if simple clinic prompts and follow-up texts increase participation, not to test a new drug or surgery.
