Summary

This study will use a smart knee implant (Persona IQ®) to continuously track movement after total knee replacement surgery. Researchers want to compare two surgical approaches (medial parapatellar vs. subvastus) to see which leads to better early recovery. About 110 adults getting a primary knee replacement will participate, and their step counts, walking speed, and range of motion will be monitored for up to 6 months. The goal is to understand recovery patterns and identify if one approach is better.
