First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether improving deep sleep can help protect the brain in older adults at risk for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will ask 116 people aged 65-85 with mild sleep issues to spend less time in bed to naturally deepen their sleep. They will measure changes in memory, brain activity, and blood markers related to Alzheimer's.
