Summary

This study tests a drug called sivelestat in 120 adults with septic shock and blood clotting problems. The drug aims to restore the body's ability to break down small clots, which may improve survival. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 24 hours, and doctors will measure changes in clotting factors.
