Summary

This study tested whether shortwave diathermy, a treatment that uses heat deep in the tissue, can help people with hand osteoarthritis. 36 adults aged 35-75 with hand osteoarthritis received either real or placebo treatment. Researchers measured pain, grip strength, and daily hand function to see if the therapy offers relief.
