Summary

This study looked at whether semaglutide, a drug used for type 2 diabetes and weight loss, can help people with sleep apnea. Fifteen adults with obesity or diabetes and sleep apnea took semaglutide for up to 4 weeks. Researchers measured changes in breathing pauses during sleep (AHI), weight, and other health markers to see if the drug could ease sleep apnea symptoms.
