Weight-Loss drug could boost IVF success for overweight women

NCT ID NCT07242534

Summary

This study is testing whether taking the weight-loss medication semaglutide for 12 weeks before IVF treatment improves embryo quality in overweight and obese women. Researchers want to see if this pre-treatment leads to more high-quality embryos compared to standard IVF without the medication. The goal is to help improve fertility treatment outcomes for women struggling with both weight and infertility.
