Summary

This study looks at how semaglutide, a diabetes and weight-loss drug, affects fat around the kidneys, heart, and liver in people with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Researchers want to understand if changes in fat tissue can slow kidney disease. About 52 adults from University of Alberta diabetes clinics will join, with or without semaglutide treatment.
