Deeper stroke Check-Ups could cut repeat attacks
NCT ID NCT07491744
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving stroke patients a more thorough exam—looking at hidden causes like artery stiffness, 24-hour blood pressure, and leg circulation—can lower their chance of having another stroke. About 600 people admitted to a Swedish hospital will get this extra check-up and a personalized treatment plan. Their results will be compared to patients who received standard care to see if the deeper approach makes a difference.
