First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how the size and type of a rotator cuff tear (a common shoulder injury) can damage the suprascapular nerve, which controls shoulder muscles. Researchers will study 250 adults with confirmed tears using MRI scans and nerve tests. The goal is to understand when nerve damage can be reversed by surgery and what factors protect the nerve.
