Summary
This study will follow 50 adults having arthroscopic rotator cuff repair to see if a condition called central sensitization—where the nervous system is overly sensitive to pain—affects their recovery. Before surgery and 3 months after, researchers will measure pain and shoulder function using standard questionnaires. The goal is to understand whether central sensitization leads to worse outcomes, which could help tailor care in the future.
