First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a type of MRI scan, called resting-state fMRI, can predict how well children with drug-resistant epilepsy will do after brain surgery. Researchers will scan 200 children aged 6 to 18 before surgery and check their seizure control one year later. The goal is to see if brain network patterns can forecast surgical success.
