This study tests whether a low dose of colchicine, a common anti-inflammatory drug, can slow down blood vessel hardening and bone problems in people with stage 3 chronic kidney disease. About 60 adults will take colchicine or receive usual care for 12 months. The goal is to see if reducing inflammation can lower the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and fractures.
