Summary
This study tested whether giving heart attack patients telemedicine devices to use at home could safely reduce the need for hospital visits. 337 adults with high cardiovascular risk took part after leaving the hospital. Researchers tracked hospital readmissions and emergency visits over 6 months to see if remote monitoring was a good alternative to in-person care.
