First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at whether teaching children and teens with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) about ultra-processed foods (like packaged snacks and sugary drinks) can help them eat less of them. About 120 participants will complete online food diaries and receive either nutrition handouts or handouts plus a short educational video. Researchers will compare changes in their eating habits to find a practical way to support better gut health.
