First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing a device that stimulates the diaphragm (the main breathing muscle) to see if it can improve heart function and quality of life in people with heart failure. About 270 participants with mild-to-moderate heart failure will receive the device plus standard medications, or standard medications alone. The goal is to measure changes in heart size, walking ability, and symptoms after six months.
