First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study followed 194 adults with type 2 diabetes in Sweden who were prescribed oral semaglutide (Rybelsus) by their own doctors. Researchers tracked changes in blood sugar levels and body weight over 8-10 months. Participants also filled out questionnaires about how they took the medication. The goal was to see how well the pill works in real-world settings, not just in controlled clinical trials.
