First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for repairing a torn aorta, a life-threatening emergency. Half of the 72 participants will receive standard surgery, while the other half will also get a special stent designed to reduce the risk of future tears and aneurysms. The goal is to see if the stent leads to better long-term outcomes.
