Summary

This study looks at whether adding protein supplements to a weight-loss plan (diet plus the drug semaglutide) helps overweight or obese adults lose more weight, keep muscle, and avoid gaining weight back. About 140 people will take part in a 3-month program and be followed for 6 more months. The goal is to find better ways to manage weight and improve health.
