Summary
This study tested whether adding propolis (a bee product) to standard mouth care could prevent or reduce mouth sores in 60 COPD patients in the intensive care unit. Half received propolis mouth care for 15 days, while the other half received standard care only. Researchers checked their mouths on days 1, 7, and 15 to see if propolis helped.
