First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a special food drink designed to help adults keep their muscle mass while losing weight with popular GLP-1 drugs like Wegovy or Mounjaro. About 144 overweight or obese adults will take either the drink or a placebo for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if the drink can prevent muscle loss, which is a common side effect of these weight loss medications.
