First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving an extra dose of radiation before breast cancer surgery is safe and helps doctors target the tumor more precisely. About 100 patients with early-stage, non-metastatic breast cancer will receive this radiation boost before their surgery. The goal is to reduce damage to healthy tissue, improve cosmetic results, and possibly control the tumor better.
