First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is creating a large database of information from 250 older adults (65+) having surgery with anesthesia. Researchers will collect questionnaires, blood samples, brain wave recordings, and memory tests before and up to a year after surgery. The goal is to find patterns that can predict who might experience confusion or memory problems after surgery, so doctors can personalize anesthesia care in the future.
