Summary

This study tests whether doing special breathing exercises before lung cancer surgery can lower the chance of problems like pneumonia or breathing trouble after the operation. About 220 people with stage I-IIIB lung cancer will either do the training or receive usual care. The goal is to see if stronger breathing muscles lead to a smoother recovery and better quality of life.
