Fertility study probes genetic test for men with no sperm in ejaculate
NCT ID NCT06566599
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks back at 400 couples where the male partner has non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), meaning no sperm in the semen due to poor sperm production. All couples used IVF with a sperm retrieval procedure. The goal is to see if testing embryos for chromosome problems (PGT-A) leads to more live births compared to not testing. The study does not test a new treatment, but aims to learn whether this genetic test is helpful for these couples.
