Brain zaps target Concussion's lingering fog

NCT ID NCT06073886

Summary

This UCLA study is testing a personalized, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment for people who still have symptoms like headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and brain fog months after a concussion. Researchers will use MRI scans to map each person's brain and then apply magnetic pulses to try to calm an overactive circuit linked to these chronic problems. The goal is to see if this targeted approach can reduce symptoms and improve daily life for the 75 participants, with effects potentially lasting up to two months.
