First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing the Persona Ti-Nidium knee implant in 240 people who need total knee replacement due to conditions like osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. The goal is to see if the implant is safe and improves knee function and pain. Participants will be followed over time to track their recovery and any complications.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Persona Ti-Nidium Total Knee System (a knee implant device)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could confirm that the Persona Ti-Nidium knee implant is safe and works well for people needing knee replacement surgery.
What could go wrong
This is a post-market study, so the device is already approved. However, it may not work for everyone, and risks like infection, implant loosening, or ongoing pain are possible.
