First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study is testing a special implant called IlluminOss to see if it can reduce pain and help people move better after pelvic fractures caused by cancer that spread to the bone or by aging. About 100 adults will receive the implant as part of their normal care, and they will fill out surveys about their pain and function before surgery and for up to two years after. The goal is to confirm that this implant improves quality of life for these patients.
