First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app could help veterans with serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder track their own symptoms. 87 veterans used the app to monitor their activity, sleep, and social interactions. The goal was to see if this data could warn of worsening symptoms and allow for earlier treatment adjustments.
