NCT ID NCT07201285
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks—edge of laminar block (ELB) and erector spinae plane block (ESPB)—for pain after video-assisted chest surgery. 70 adults were randomly assigned to one block. The goal was to see which block reduces the need for morphine and delays the first painkiller request. Results help doctors choose the best pain control method for this surgery.
