Summary
This phase II trial is testing whether giving the hormone therapy drug goserelin (Zoladex) as a shot in the upper buttock works as well as the standard belly injection for suppressing ovarian function in premenopausal women with hormone-positive breast cancer. About 98 patients who are already on monthly belly injections will switch to buttock injections for 6 months. The main goal is to see if the buttock shot keeps estrogen levels low enough. If it does, it could offer a more comfortable option.
