Summary
This study tested a new drug called aleniglipron (GSBR-1290) to help people with obesity or overweight lose weight. About 85 adults took either the drug or a placebo for 44 weeks, along with diet and exercise. The main goal was to check safety and side effects, while also measuring how much weight people lost.
