First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at how moderate physical activity influences the way the body processes different types of dietary fats in men with obesity. Twelve men aged 18-55 with a family history of obesity and a sedentary lifestyle participated. Researchers measured fat oxidation and gene expression before and after a 2-month training program to understand how exercise might shift fat away from storage and toward being used for energy.
