First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early study is testing a combination of two drugs, parthenolide and ipriflavone (called NPC-1), in 40 adults aged 55 and older who have early Alzheimer's or memory concerns. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can improve blood markers linked to Alzheimer's brain changes. Participants will take the drug for a set period, and researchers will compare their blood tests before and after treatment.
