Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality program that shows nostalgic scenes (like old neighborhoods or festivals) could improve emotional well-being and thinking skills in older adults with mild memory problems. Sixty-four people aged 65 and older took part, using VR twice a week for about 20 minutes per session. Researchers measured changes in mood, life satisfaction, and cognitive function before and after the program.
