Summary

This study tested whether a nasal insulin spray combined with the diabetes drug empagliflozin can safely improve memory and thinking in people with early Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. 47 adults aged 55-85 with signs of Alzheimer's in their brain took part. The goal was to see if this combination could help the brain use energy better and improve blood flow.
