Music may beat gas for needle jitters in back pain treatment

NCT ID NCT06928740

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether listening to music through a special app (Music Care®) can calm anxiety as well as a gas mixture (EMONO) during a CT-guided injection for low back pain. The gas can cause nausea and dizziness, and the music app has no side effects. Researchers will compare anxiety levels in 128 patients to see if music is a good alternative.
