Doctors test Real-Time MRI radiation to target tumors more precisely
NCT ID NCT04115254
Summary
This study is testing a new radiation therapy approach that uses MRI scans during treatment to adjust radiation beams in real time. Researchers want to see if this method can better target tumors while sparing healthy tissue in patients with various cancers including pancreatic, lung, kidney, and prostate cancers. The study will first check if the approach is safe and practical, then measure how well it controls tumors and improves patients' quality of life.
