First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week exercise program, done twice a week, can improve physical function, thinking skills, and reduce fall risk in older adults living in nursing homes. The program includes strength, balance, and aerobic exercises. Researchers will compare it to a stretching and relaxation program in 60 participants with frailty or dementia.
