First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-month program of tailored exercise and dietary changes can reduce the amount of time spent in atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) and decrease fat around the heart in overweight and obese adults. About 158 participants with atrial fibrillation will either receive the lifestyle program or usual care. The goal is to see if lifestyle changes can help manage the condition and improve symptoms.
