First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding mindful eating training to a weight-loss diet helps adults with obesity eat more mindfully and feel less driven by food cravings. 82 adults with obesity took part. Researchers compared those who only followed a weight-loss diet to those who also learned mindful eating techniques. The goal was to see if the training improved eating awareness and reduced hedonic hunger.
