Brain tumor study looks at tiny molecule as possible clue

NCT ID NCT01849952

First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study looked at a tiny molecule called microRNA-10b in people with brain tumors called gliomas. Researchers wanted to see if higher levels of this molecule could help predict how the disease might progress or how long patients might live. The study was stopped early, but it aimed to better understand different types of gliomas and possibly find new ways to treat them.
